Allison's 1st Hair Cut

Believe or not, Allison finally had her first hair cut at age 3 years and 2 months. My friend Erin comes over to our house to cut my hair and was scheduled to come over one night a few weeks ago. Brian mentioned to Allison that "Miss Erin" was going to come over to cut Mommy's hair. Allison got all excited because she thought that Miss Erin was also going to cut her hair. That was all she talked about when I got home.  While Allison's hair wasn't all that long, I did figure she could use a trim to even things up a bit. It was starting to look a little bit like a mullet.

Erin couldn't make it that night - Allison was very disappointed and upset. However, Erin did come over a few days later.  It was at the start of nap time, so I told Allison she could stay up to get her hair cut, however she had to go to bed after that. She told me that she didn't need to go to bed. As the haircut went on, Allison's eyes begin to droop. She barely could stay awake, however she was very proud of her new haircut.
