This past Friday, Allison and Amelia had "Wacky Tacky" day at daycare so Brian and I dressed them up for the occasion.
When I was in high school and I used to dress up for spirit week, I would always have dreams the night before that it really wasn't "mismatch day" or whatever the day was. Even though I knew it was spirit week (since I was on Student Council and we planned the week) I always had this fear that I would show up to school and no one else would be dressed up.
I have to admit I had that uneasy feeling when I left for work that morning. When I got home from work that night, Brian told me that he didn't see any other kids dressed up; their parents had forgotten about it. I'm sure some of the other kids that came later were dressed up, I just thought it was funny that one of my greatest fears came "true" some 15 years later.

hahahahaaa! I love it!!! I admit, I always forget to dress Avari up for things, Kurt always has to remind me!
So cute! Bri has the same pants that Amelia has on. :o) I used to have the same fears as you in high school too.
I thought maybe Brian just had a rough morning in getting the kids ready.. then I read the story.. lol
There probably are kids out there at daycare somewhere in this world dress like this because dad dressed them.
Brian is good about dressing the kids.
I'm pretty lazy and only buy 2 piece matching outfits so I don't have to worry about matching outfits together in the morning.
just wait, if Allison is anything like Willa in a few months, every day will be wacky tacky day.
